This February Gallery North will host the Shoreline Museum Painters and their wonderful collection of art work featuring a variety of themes and mediums. The group of twelve professional artists (11 participating) meet regularly at the Shoreline Museum where magic happens in that light and airy space.

Diversity reigns among this group. Each of the participating artists contributes their unique talent and skills. Ginni Guest excels with watercolor florals, while her daughter, Kim Caldwell, is a watercolor landscape artist and has just completed a very successful show at Gallery North. Sheila Theodoratos and Paula Parks are two well-know colored pencil artists that produce amazing work.  Ruth Harold’s watercolors will transport you to the famous Silk Road in Asia where she and her husband travel extensively.

Peggy Jacobs is skilled in many mediums and has been popular in Edmonds for many of her 90 years.  Nola Allen paints exceptional Northwest landscapes and florals, while Clifford Burkey brings a wonderful feel for color to his well designed watercolors. Keith Artz and Dot Stanton create exacting and beautiful still life work, and Ruth Handewith continues to amaze her followers with exceptional watercolor paintings. This is an award winning collection of artists.

You are invited to share in the excitement and meet the artists at a reception on Saturday, February 13th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and at the Edmonds Art Walk on Thursday, February 18th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served at both of these events.

The Shoreline Museum Painters Exhibition will be on display from February 1st through the 28th.
