Kathy A. Walker is a juried board member of Seattle
Co-Arts, a charter member of Arts of Snohomish, and an active member of
Gallery North in Edmonds. Her work has been exhibited in numerous shows:
the Edmonds Art Festival, Lynnwood Juried Art Exhibit, Shoreline Art
Festival, EAFA Exhibition, and Seattle Co-Arts Juried Show, in which she
won Honorable Mention. Her art studies have ranged from figure drawing
and botanical painting to advanced experimental techniques in
watercolor. Kathy’s favorite subjects are richly colored impressionistic
florals and abstract landscapes. “I enjoy being loose and playful with
watercolor, using it to its best advantage by letting it be what it
truly is—wet, rich, and wild.”
